The Brainerd Bees defeated the Granite City Grays 6-4 on Sunday. The Grays scored 4 in the 3rd to take the lead, but the Bees would eventually tie it at 4 in the 7th. Pat Skogen hit a go-ahead 2-RBI single in the bottom of the 8th to give the Bees the lead. Skogen finished the day going 3-5 with 2-RBI. Kyle Crocker also had an RBI double. Blake Eller started on the mound for the Bees, and he went 6 innings, giving up 4 runs, all earned, on 4 hits and 6 walks while giving up 4 hits and striking out 8. Burrell Flanagan came into the game in the 7th and he would wind up getting the win. He gave up zero runs on 2 hits, 2 walks, while striking out one. The win gives the Bees a record of 6-4.
