The Bees defeated the Clear Lake Lakers 4-2 on Saturday afternoon. The Bees were lead by a good pitching performance by Burrell Flanagan and a 4-run 6th inning. Flanagan went the distance on the mound to pick up the win. He allowed two earned runs on three hits, two walks, and two hit batters while also striking out six. The Bees scored all four of their runs in the 6th. Kyle Crocker had a 2-RBI single followed by Mark Ortega's RBI single. The Bees scored there fourth run that inning on an errant throw by the shortstop for Clear Lake. The victory brings the Bees record to 4-1 and they will next play the Cold Spring Springers on Friday June 8th at the Brainerd High School field.
